Snowbird, Utah is in the heart of the Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Little Cottonwood Canyon, one mile down canyon from Alta. The top of resort is at the 11,000-foot Hidden Peak, and the lowest point on the mountain is at the bottom of Baby Thunder chairlift, at 7,760 feet. Lifts include one Aerial Tram, 10 chairlifts including four high-speed detachable quads and six doubles (most with arm and leg rests), and two conveyer lifts. Snowbird houses 882 lodging rooms between four lodging properties.
